Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice" music video has been released.  And while K-Dot didn't get the Janet Jackson cameo he was hoping for, his featured guest Drake drops in, along with a video version of good kid, m.A.A.d city's recurring character Sherane.

All eyes are on her when she shows up at a late-night block party in Los Angeles, where the fellas from the neighborhood are throwing dice, passing around bottles and mingling with girls.  Kendrick and Sherane spot each other, eventually making their way to one another.  They're in the middle of what looks like a nice conversation, when shots ring out and the crowd scatters.

Later, we learn that Kendrick and Sherane weren't among the lucky ones who got out of dodge.  They're laying lifeless in the street -- Kendrick on top of Sherane -- when an ambulance arrives.

In a tweet about the dramatic clip, Kendrick writes, "justice served... poetic."
