It's bow-ow-ow for Snoop Dogg thanks to a lien filed against the rapper by the Internal Revenue Service for more than $546,000 in federal back taxes. 

According to TMZ, the government claims the rapper owes $546,270.69.  The unpaid bills come from two separate years, according to government documents cited by TMZ -- 2009, for which the IRS claims Snoop owes $101,952.44, and 2001 for which the IRS claims Snoop owes $444,317.85.

Back in 2008, the government claimed the rapper owed about $476,000 in outstanding taxes but when the IRS brought the debt to his attention, Snoop paid up, TMZ reports.

Snoop Dogg has not commented on the issue.
